Land Rover has a range of towing systems in place to help you out. From Tow Assist which will help you when reversing, sets guide marks on your infotainment system so you can see what is going on, a great help we all agree! There is also Advanced Tow Assist which has the same technology with some upgrades, as well as there being Tow Hitch assist, which allows you to precisely couple the tow bar with a tow hitch, and lastly, the Surround Camera Assist which has five cameras, all designed to help you tow and see better during the journey and reversing.

If you are planning on towing, beware of weight limits. Here is a handy guide you can refer back to, of the weight limits of each model. Make sure you check your own model before you commit, as it is important to make sure there are no discrepancies.

Range Rover - up to 3500kg

Sport - 3500kg

Velar - 2500kg

Evoque - 2000kg

Disco - 3500kg

Defender - 3500kg

Also, if you are planning on towing, remember to check your licence in regards to weight limits - some licences will only allow up to a combined 3500kg (car and trailer) and will need additional training and licence to tow more than that!
